“I love Nancy Guthrie’s passionate desire to stretch ordinary Christians in our Bible reading, to help us develop and grow our understanding, and to deepen our devotion to Christ. This extensive collection of Bible studies is full of accessible wisdom and nourishing insight. It will bless many.”
Christopher Ash, Writer in Residence, Tyndale House, Cambridge; author, The Psalms: A Christ-Centered Commentary
“My friend Nancy Guthrie has done a great service for the kingdom with her new book, Beholding Christ. For, although she understands how the Old Testament prepares the way for Jesus, the Gospels reveal him, and the Epistles explain him, she also knows it is not always easy for believers to ‘find’ their Savior in every chapter of Holy Writ. And so Nancy invested months of research and writing to produce this excellent book, which helps readers apprehend their Lord on nearly every page of the Bible. Whether you are a serious student of God’s word or brand-new to Scripture, you will find Beholding Christ to be your favorite resource for understanding the person and work of Jesus Christ.”

“Nancy Guthrie’s ‘brand’ is helping people see Christ in all of Scripture. Having done this in several books, she now offers an astonishing vista of the whole Bible. I can’t wait to have my own copy!”
Michael Horton, J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics, Westminster Seminary California
“Beholding Christ is a fresh invitation to see Jesus on every page of the Bible and is sure to become a treasured resource for engaging with God’s word, regardless of how long you’ve been reading it.”
