A Brief Book Notice from Books At a Glance
J. Gresham Machen (1881-193&) scarcely needs an introduction to our readers, but this book, now in a new edition, is one that you may have missed.
Machen, professor of New Testament at old Princeton Theological Seminary and then founder of Westminster Theological Seminary, is famed for his faithfulness against the onslaught of unbelieving thought in the Presbyterian denomination. A major factor in his effectiveness was his informed yet simple clarity in both his speaking and writing.
Certainly a publication worthy of note. Informative, enjoyable, easily accessible, and profitable reading.
