In case you’ve missed it we wanted to point out this collection of essays in honor of John Piper. For the Fame of God’s Name. On a more personal level, the earlier and latter chapters of this book especially will help acquaint you with John Piper and his ministry. In between learn of Piper’s theology of “Christian Hedonism” and in depth studies of major biblical themes such as the sovereignty and supremacy of God, the gospel, Christian ministry, and the various causes to which Piper has famously drawn attention.

The chapter by Sinclair Ferguson, Christus Victor et Propitiator, is alone worth the price of the book, as is Beale’s chapter on the relation of Christ’s resurrection to our justification, Carson’s chapter on the gospel, Schreiner’s chapter on the glory of God, and others. Here’s an overview:
